Dear Respected Elders, Brothers and Sisters and Our children.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Re-opening our Centre Safely:

As we are about to enter our fourth month into lockdown, the government has announced the potential for a “phased re-opening of houses of worship”. The overriding concern remains the safety of the congregation, their families and friends and society at large. A phased reopening process will therefore dictate a number of essential steps to ensure compliance with current safety guidance.

The phases will include the following steps:
1. Pre-opening
2. Restricting premises to essential use
3. Staff safety
4. Daily prayers
5. Jum’a prayers
6. Madrassah

We are now in the process of identifying a potential safety officer for our centre to proceed with the mandatory COVID-19 specific risk assessment and the implementation of the necessary safety requirements. The centre will remain closed for the foreseeable future and we will In’Sha’Allah keep you updated.

وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته

AHMA Mosque/COVID-19

Our Current Activities

During the COVID-19 pandemic period and with the start of Ramadan, some of our community have also been involved in doing some creative things. Youngsters from the Girls Group took part in a photography competition with photos taken of flowers in their gardens. A few ladies living in the Altrincham/Hale area put together colourful fruit baskets which were delivered to our neighbours next to the Centre in Hale at the start of Ramadan.
